    Turkeys coming down from their roosts chirping like crazy in the neighbors fields. A mink must have a home somewhere close. He’s been swimming up and down this drainage all morning.

    Beautiful morning to enjoy gods creation. Blessed that I get to experience and enjoy these types of things.

    Good luck guys...no hunting this morning . I tussed and turned with aches all night, leaf blowing got me. So today? I'm finishing up today. Might do an evening hunt here. Then early to bed and getting on the road by 3a.m. For the hour and half drive to camp. Taking crossbow, I cant risk even a marginal shot down there alone and no 4 wheeler. Especially if the buck is as big as I believe he is. LOL probably won't see a thing.
    Hubby says this morning , " How can you enjoy hunting getting up at 3 drive so long to hunt in 70 degrees and then rushing to get a deer home before it goes bad? " You dont bow hunt, it's all a challenge, that's the point" which reminds me tarp for trunk and a cooler full of ice just in case.
