Lastone and Arrowflinger, congrats, nice bucks!

Good first bow kill chief jr!

Thread is fun to catch up on.

Out in the blind, moved it about 60 yds and got way too sweaty. [IMG][IMG]

Same with me. I get lit up by wasps every year and they don’t bother me too bad. A bee will send me to the ER

About 2 miles of tracking and I have my tail tucked between my legs. He is still alive almost certain.

Long hot shower and good meal and a couple of drinks.

I see you in the am

I'm taking one of those and you will get one on the morning. So who's shooting the other 3! Good luck in the morning!

I got a BBD text from my son in law just before last light.

Tactacam footage looks good so we’re about to head out for a recovery.

Heading out in the morning! I’m not going to the ridge because of the wind. Also the temperature increase really sucks. Being 100% realistic, it would be a 6 to 8 hour drag to get a deer out of there and up to my jeep. With these warm temperatures that’s not a good idea. I’ll be hunting in one of my rut spots. 0215..alarm set!!

This guy passed my stand in O-H-I-O last evening. I leave for over there in the morning. Hold on boy I'll be there for you in a few hours.

So I got 3 trail cams batteried up with cards in them. Going to put one or two at the above possible rub area. Think it is useless to put it on the rub itself but want to get it in the vicinity. If the big scrapes from last year below the dam, where I met a buck this morning in the dark, is opened back up I'm putting one there on video. I didn't see the scrape last year, I smelled it as I was changing stands and then seen it. Might still have pics on my phone of it. was two big scrapes under one tree that were absolutely hammered.

Have to figure out where to put the third, might put it back up closer to the truck on days when others are hunting I'll just hang back and hunt from the ground. Plenty of tracks, just not sure if it's morning, evening or overnight traffic.
