    Let's do it man. Tremendous gun pressure out here but I pushed in deep to an far ridge with a ton of mountain laurel cover. Woods are loud and I couldnt keep it quiet either coming in...hope the pressure pushes them this way or a big boy comes back to bed in here.

    Gonna pull a Swampy this morning.
    Gonna go deep into a spruce thicket bordering a lake.
    Aint even gonna bring a stand. A ground hunt is in order.
    Buddy shot a giant last night. Was way to big for him to get out. I told him to gutt it and ill come help this morning after I'm done.

    Decided I needed early start to my vacation this week--- taking 1/2 day off today.

    I'll be leaving work today around noon and sitting in a blind with the wife on the river lease by 2 pm. Taking Lady Luck with me!
    She started her 10 day vacation yesterday and asked if she could tag along tonight since the weather is so mild.

    I said sure--- I can always use extra hands to help get one loaded!

    Here is the blind we will be sitting in tonight. I put it in last week after see a big buck chase 3 does across the corn field into this isolated brush patch right at dark. It sets in a drainage that stretches across 500 acres of corn and beans.

    I'm up with 10 minutes to spare.

    Woke up 40 minutes late on 2 1/2 hours sleep. May not be an all day sit, see what morning brings.

    Didn't see any of the normal zcrapes opened up yet on walk down. All crops are out.

    Nov. 4th, anything can happen

    Thermals finally behaving and shooting my scent skyward. It's perfect out here but this particular 10 to 15k acre spot has kicked my butt for 3 years. Let's change that this morning.

    I'm late but im here in a tree waiting for a randy buck to cruise by. Doe with her twins pinned me on the side of the tree for a bit blew a couple times at nothing then ran off. Good luck erbody

    Just got set up. Lots of deer in fields on the way to my spot. Brisk 28 degrees but supposed to warm up fast. Good luck
