Why does Mother Nature have to do this? Why this week? Haven’t been in here since Saturday. Thinking of busting out all the stops... Might even try to rattle.

Not a coffee drinker so I bring apple cider.

A side benefit is that it doesn't run right through a guy.

Just had a guy who hadn't hunted back here all year drive quad right up to property line, walk past me less than 40 yards not see me, and now he's getting his fat butt up a tree about 150 yards from me. He won't be able to see me but I know where his stand is. Oh well at least he's off wind for my location although he does cut off 1 Direction they might come in on. Public land...

I spent over 2 hours this afternoon looking for the doe I shot this morning and couldn’t find any blood or my arrow. The shot was a little high and back and I didn’t get a pass through for some reason but I thought for sure I got lungs. I know this happens every once in awhile but it doesn’t make it any easier.

20201103_155025.jpg Up in a stand near big buck area. I'm in a funnel between 2 bedding areas, with recently picked corn nearby. Bucks are chasing, so anything came happen.

Take a deep breath before pulling the trigger.

Tight spot, field edge doesn’t offer much, but I think They’ll come from behind me, which is good. Two yuuuggggeee scrapes about 30 yards. Bumped a doe on the way in as well though.

Guy across the street is shooting a rifle in rapid succession. If he keeps it up I can forget about seeing any deer in the field tonight.

Grace and I are back in again after another 3" of snow. From the tracks deer were in overnight or very early this morning.they are definitely hitting the food plots. My cams have all been Doe and a couple small Bucks. I have not seen the 10pt since September. Still hoping all the Does around will pull him in when the rut starts here. 39min left her. Its go time! 16044389689938284695051713859121.jpg 16044391097615944738528632014644.jpg

I had snow this morning all be it from yesterday and now it's gone. Was 37 this morning and now 52. I have bugs flying around. But November and I'm in a tree.

Couldn't find my arrow from my miss(coyote). Sure I hit a limb. Have no idea where it went.

    Yes I VOTED

Got a little forkie feeding out in front of me at 20yds. He's tearing up the clover, not knowing what danger he's NOT in! He could easily get dead! [IMG]
