First sign of life for the afternoon, big old groundhog at 60 yards, he normally shows up just before deer

It sure is warm here. Just shot my bow and I'm sweating just from that and it definitely is weird for November. Good luck out there y'all.

Oh yeah. Check your bows! I was consistently 2 inches low and ended up adjusting for that. Last week I was dead on and I don't recall bumping my sight at any point.

Just got in here. Windy and warm doesn't sound like November but it is November so I'm here! Good luck all.

Good to also periodically make sure all screws /bolts are secure.

    E.g. Could've bumped the rest.

Just got into my stand. First time hunting this spot this year. A little bowl up against the railroad tracks. Saw some good sign on the way in. Windy with 50% chance of rain. I'm looking for a trophy doe, bear or yote. Good luck 1604431787668.jpeg

I don't know what I was thinking when i put this stand up. I don't have very many shooting lanes to my left. The way the wind is swirling I don't think it will make a difference tonight.

Heading for my annual trip to O-H-I-O on Friday. Hope to knock down one of those bigguns I've been getting on the cameras over there.

Feeling kinda meh about this set up but let’s give it go. Buck decoy on the edge of a WW field. It’s November so anything can happen.
    Good luck PM shift!

Good luck Jim. Forecast is for upper 60’s and 70’s this weekend. Not ideal but I’m not going to complain.

Me either after last year's single digits and snow when I was there. A few of those days pretty much took the fun right out of it

I left my climber locked in my valley this morning, went home and the wife and I went and voted.

Got back to camp and did some scouting and found some great sign. I grabbed my other climber and got set up 25 yards downwind of some awesome scrapes in an old road.

My son in law texted me and said that the big 8 he saw was already chasing a doe around his climber. He is trying to sneak in and get set up without spooking them. That boy is the luckiest guy I’ve ever seen when it comes to deer coming to him.
