    Wind is SSW, that will force me into the saddle on the big acorn tree/huge scrape zone. Might push in a little further where the thick stuff is to catch them moving between the two ridges.

    Well I was only able to get a 3 hour hunt in today. No deer seen. Good luck fellas.

    At least something is doing some killing in these woods- owl just smoked a black squirrel! Set all the little suckers to screeching and yammering.

    Going to give it thirty more minutes then I’m out for lunch. Pretty slow morning compared to yesterday. Might sit on the field with the buck decoy tonight.

    Skipping out of work early to get in the stand today. Get a few hour sit in at least.

    Near record breaking temps today which is unfortunate, but at least it’s November.

    Those does made getting up at 3:30 worth it, wind in dying down as the day goes on, had a mature doe come by at 12:45 yesterday afternoon... I’m in for an all day sit, should get good as the wind dies off

    So much for forecast...it's snowing again. In high 30's. Winds not south east but NNW, though pretty calm.

    I didn’t see a deer this morning. I got down at 8:00, ran to town, voted and I’m back at camp.

    My son saw 8 does but no shot.

    My son in law saw a huge 8 point and then let a nice 9 walk because he’d seen something bigger. Those two bucks met up and had a sparring match. He got video of it but the video is pretty bad since they were 90 yards away.

    It’s finally starting to heat up here.

    Geez looking at this weather coming up I’m wondering if I should move first couple days of my vacay (9th , 10th) to the (16th , 17th). I probably won’t but what a kick in the nay nays
