    I grunted no response.... well he’s gone lol he was heading away from me so I grunted louder and he stopped. Then he started away again so I snort wheezed and he ran away blowing. Whatever I did he didn’t like it haha

    Remind me not to go out and party during the rut. Just a pile of poop today and didn’t make it out. Super windy all day, but now it is dead calm and would have been the perfect night to be in a tree.

    Just missed a nice doe by a country mile! Pretty sure my string caught ghilli suit. I need to trim this thing up better and maybe wrap with shirt sleeve or something. I’m just glad it was clean miss

    awesome sit.
    Ended seeing 12 does n 6 bucks.
    A 3 year old 3x4 followed my boot tracts to my tree and hung out for 1/2 hour.
    Could not even move.

    I'll name this buck Trump :4 More Years: lol.
    The 2 bucks in the background were feeling their oats.
    The sparred for a good 15 minutes.

    Bust for me tonight. My cousin took a 20 yard shot on a 115-120ish 8 but possibly hit a branch and missed. I say possibly because all we found was the Last three inches of Arrow. He said it ran off like it wasn't hurt stopped at about 60 yards for 10-20 seconds, then walked off slowly. Didn't find any blood but he's also not 100% sure which route the buck took when he ran off. It's cold so we will hunt in the morning and then he'll get up in his stand and guide me on the ground exactly where the deer was where he took the shot and we'll go from there. Thinking it was likely a miss but usually when you see just the end of the arrow that means it was stuck in him but broke it off when he ran away.

    My cousin is a stone cold deer killing machine so if he says he doesn't think he hit it then he probably didn't. But we'll give it another go together in the late AM.
