Imagine the fallout of a crew of us in deer camp all together.

You going back after that buck tomorrow?

Know how after being on a boat all day you feel like you still are after you're back home. That's me from swaying in that tree all evening.

I was wearing the leaf suit. It's ridiculous how close they will get and not spook with that thing on.

Well turned into a pretty good sit around dark. Ended up seeing six or so deer but nothing to shoot at. Had to wait in tree for 1/2 hour or so for deer to clear out. Got this pic from my buddy who hunts neighboring property. I’m 99 percent sure that is the buck I hit last Saturday and never found. If it’s not him he has a twin. No pics of his right side which would have the wound in it. Seeing that makes me happy he could still be alive but sad that I didn’t seal the deal and get a good shot on him. He e we pulse have been a great one to top last years. Oh well!!!

so I keep a little tablet in my camper that I basically only use while I'm up here to check live from the stand and my SD cards.

I just fired it up to check a card and it logged right back into my last LFTS check from last year.

Not a good memory but a good memory.

    ... humbling.

And also, thanks to all you bros, brahs, and bruhs for all the advice and support over the years. I'd share deer camp with any of you a-holes.

All that wind that MN and WI was getting today is getting here tomorrow... what to do, what to do... most likely not going to get in a tree stand, thinking about still hunting a new area to me about a half a mile East.

With howling west winds thinking I could creep up the east side of the property and see what's up in there.

    Channeling my inner THP...

Congrats @Wop 75! You made the right choice. I did the same thing back in 2010 on a 10 point. Something had busted up his lower jaw in a similar way. I could see corn just falling out of his mouth through my binos as he tried to eat. The deer I shot was emancipated and discolored on the inside. I ended up just throwing the body out for the coyotes. Amazing how they try to keep going.

I'd have a deer camp with y'all in a heartbeat!

I also think Todd and @Justin should throw together a bowhunting.com archery shoot. Nothing like Lancaster but just something for us bunch of hosers to get together and shoot it out and do some BBQ.

    You bastards are corrupting me!
Never thought I'd get caught up in a live discussion like this.
But you are all good eggs and this is super fun keeping up with all you Dolts.:tu:

Got eggs,hashbrowns/sweet peppers frying up with a sirloin steak about ready.
Sitting in my cabin, temps a bit too warm,a couple cold brews down and maybe 1 more to drink, listening to some classic rock on the radio and my dog chasing rabbits in his sleep next too me.
Wind for Tommaro is only good for one stand here in the morning.
Gonna have to sneak on the riverbank and go about 400 yards.
Its a tangled up mess with all kinds of different kinds of chit that will cling to my clothes. Burdock SUCK!!
I usually do this by canoe but I don't have it in me ç anymore:confused:
Just flipped my hashbrowns, they ain't ready yet so I'll have time for one more:beer:.

G_nite fellas, check in the morning.

Oh, and OND, no disrespect but on this forum, I consider you one of the "fellas":moose:

The fact that you called us "hosers" is good enough for me.

Saw 10 today, 9 Doe out of range and the Funky 5 at 20, but no interest in shooting that size Buck. Can't hunt tomorrow, have to head home to be at my sons birthday. Congrats everyone, hopefully be back in a stand Thursday.
