Deer moving all around me. Didn’t lay eyes on anything so I’m going to assume they were all big bucks.

Sitting here watching deer pass through at far end of lane way thinking...Why the hell are my feet so cold!
Look down to realize I grabbed the wrong boots and my 1200 g Irish setters are in my warm house. My uninsulated boots are on my feet! Dummy!!!!!

Don't be too hard on yourself. Couple years ago I climbed up in the stand on a cold November day and the longer I sat there the colder my feet got, my feet never get cold. I looked down and I was wearing tennis shoes! Oh the joys of senility!

Rattling, grunting, snort wheeze session complete. Let's see if any of them are awake and looking to fight.

Well I’m glad others are seeing deer. All I’ve seen so far is a bunch of squirrels

Also realized...today is last day of fall turkey...I haven't seen or heard one since season opened...might as well try a few calls might calm the deer. This whole calling natural comes in handy...though...just had crows answer me..lol

Weather channel said N - Nw winds. Set up for said wind. Had said wind. 2 does come into 40 yds. I need them to close 10 more yds to get shot. They are doing their part. Then.... wind laughs and says eff you Brandon. I’m gonna come out of the south for a minute. Oops did I blow your stench right at those does???? Awww I’m so sorry. Screw you wind. Why do you spite me!?!?

Me and you both, pouring here still. I didnt expect them to move this morning, though it has been raining on them for 30hrs and they have to be getting hungry. Gonna move 150yds from the blind to the stand at about 11. Rain is supposed to stop at 12. They should be on their feet all afternoon .

Deer calendar also says the moon will be underfoot here from 1210 to 1410, could be the perfect storm of moon pull and rain let up.
