Looks like they are combining the rest of the corn I'll be sitting next to tonight. If they till it under tomorrow it will be perfect timing for me to get my but into the swamp.

Looks good. You're gonna like that.

Here's a tip for you: When you go to nest the stand together, grab the Hazmore seat and fold the bottom over the V brace so that when you nest the platform in the seat section the teeth of the platform pins the seat in that position. This will keep it from hanging down, working it's way over the teeth and snagging on limbs and the like.

Oh, and order some new shrink wrap. Jeez Brett!

I've gone through 3 seats and on my 3rd set of shrink wraps with this stand! Haha. But you are right

Edit..just found the replacement cables themselves for only 30 bucks. Ordered. I'm now a lean mean non deer seeing machine.

I wish it would stop raining in time for me to get on stand this evening but that’s not going to happen.

The rain is supposed to stop tonight so I’ll have time to get one sit in tomorrow morning before I have to start loading for the trip to Mark Twain National Forest.

My shrink wrap is shredded like crazy. it is not a pretty sight! I blasted it with some spray paint for now. I have hockey stick tape covering the part (On the stand itself) where it touches metal so there is no noise.

Kicked out the big one I was after on my way in. Then walked 40yds by a fawn out in the middle of the field. Then saw a doe running along the river towards me and now I see a doe across the field by my treestand. I've only been here 15 minutes.

No hunting today but did get a card pulled from my MI public spot. Finally have one i could shoot.

But i have a problem. If you recall I mentioned that Boo Boo was hanging around last year. It' s worse this year. Got pics of a sow with 2 cubs.

Could be interesting if i have to track deer in the cedar swamp.

Took me about 2 weeks but I finally got the smarts not to wear my wool jacket walking to the stand. Not nearly as sweaty.

They are still combining the field behind me. Cannot year a dang thing with it going.

    Lets spill some blood.
