The does I saw the bucks messing around with the other day were mature, yet their hocks were still ultra white. They werent close to being ready.

Anyone else get a seriously tight back hunting from a tree all the time. I have to get this under control bc its causing me to be in pain and fidget/stretch on stand.

I do but I rough it out until I get home and hook up the tens unit, rest in the hot tub and have a beer. I'm in the process of making a distillate from the plants that were in the garden for a topical back cream. My sister inlaw made some for me last year and the stuff works with the only side effect being listening to Joe Rogan podcasts, the munchies and bad movies being made better.. j/k but it does work to relax the muscles.

*Edit, take of the tens unit pads before entering hot tub..

Brett, I have to stretch a bit every now and then, to make sure none of that happens. I'm not getting any younger! lol

I am having the same problem, man. I tweaked my back about 2 weeks ago and that is making it much worse. I was commenting here the other day about my seat pad being wet and having to sit on the frame with the pad off...because I needed to spell my back a little. I usually can stand there, perfectly still and fine. I know I'm getting older, but I think the combination of already being hurt, and all the different hang and hunt sets is aggravating my back in general. Stretching and heat for me has helped today.

Same here, but I think Sat is supposed to be pretty windy. Maybe 25+mph. I hate the wind!

I stand corrected, the wind isn't until Monday. Sat looks good. :tu:

Shoot me a PM describing where it gets tight and what activities or body body positions bring it on. I can recommend stretches.

I go through the same when sitting in the stand. Standing relieves it, so I just alternate sitting and standing. Try to do both positions for quite a while to minimize movement and of course scan everything really closely before changing positions.

20 to 30mph winds and rain blasting here. The woods are going to look much different tomorrow. The real fall has arrived...and the bucks have listened. Get your coffee boys. Its on.

tight back, sore lower spine, sore shoulders and wicked stiff neck. Why I built the saddle. I can stand on ladder stand seat with two screw in steps on either side and avoid all that.

BTW ...Saying this here as a referral
When I have seen heavy rains like this late fall...winters have been brutal deep snows. We'll see...still pouring.

I'm going to be in a stand the next 5 days. Seen a couple bucks already today. Should be fun later.
