Arrow launched on buck. Pretty sure I crunched him arrow buried in to fletching. Crashed down hill pretty sure he’s down. Backing out to get help to trail. Feeling good. I think descent little 8 don’t know. I was excited and he looked good.

Just getting out. Only those two bucks, both about 55yrds out. One brand new scrape on my trail that wasn’t there when I went in this evening. Saw a big hawk also. Another tranquil sit in the woods.

Slow but sure.... baby steps.... I can wipe my own ass now, take a shower by myself, get dressed by myself, drive, all that’s left is tying my boots ... bought me one of these IMG_7447.JPG
Hoping to get out with the crossbow in a few weeks and gun in 3 1/2 weeks

Is that for wiping your ass or tying your boots?

How's your mobility, strength and pain? From experience, go easy on the muscles around the fractures, work them too hard and it's, um, unpleasant.

Got him. Took death run into the steepest stuff know to man and tumbeled into creek at bottom. Busted his rack up a little. Feels good to get redemption. No doubts with this shot. He was crushed. Headed home!! Story later.
