They let us out early from training. On stand. Had to go to plan D or maybe M. Public land bananza full of workers, hunters all over, and a guy stalk hunting pheasants in blaze orange!..good Lord. Plan D or M was put my face to the wind and find the food. Success. But 2 hrs before sundown 2 does were already coming in and busted me. Hopefully something moves.

Not sure what it is about this spot... It’s like clock work every single time I sit here. Doe and a fawn stroll through every day. This time at 80 in some thick stuff.

I don't know why, but it's amazing to me how different the rut timing is just across the country. All of you are talking about scrapes and starting to see chasing...I won't see the first scrapes starting to show up over here for another two weeks.

image.jpg Hunting a bench on Public land in Ohio, got some good bucks on cam working the scrape the last couple days around 7pm. Hopefully with the rain this am it will get them out to freshen them up during shooting light tonight.

Well that light scouting turned into more of a fizzle. Back up and its starting to drizzle which has been normal here. Hoping one follows all these trails that lead here. Good luck all.

Got deer all over the cut corn. One big buck chasing one of the does. Afraid I'll run out of light before they close the distance!
