    Up and getting ready to head out the door... The he winds are pretty decent for my scrape setup as I expect the deer coming from the north. I'll check back in when I get settled in for the hunt!

    I’m up. Everything in me tells me to be in a tree today but already made commitments to the duck blind for the opener. We have a few hundred geese and a bunch of ducks using our spot to loaf so this should be good!

    Well after my mile hike in on the logging road I got 30 yards into the woods and kicked up a small deer, had a stand off for a little while eventually it spooked off went about 200 yards and started blowing like crazy, just got all set up I’m right outside what I think is doe bedding and already heard something run into the bedding area and some crashing... I’m in it boys, for the first time in my life does are safe lol, I’m going to be dragging my first PA archery buck out of the woods today, it’s been 15 years of hunting next weekend on the 31st(Halloween baby) let’s get after it good luck guys!! I’m signing off till I have something to report

    Lone deer just walked in off cut corn directly under me. I could hear it and see shadow. Kept on moving on.
