I’m out. Nothing besides two does. I’m surprised I saw them.

Also, congrats to Skylar! Way to pull through tonight fellas!

I just got to the truck. Nothing else for me tonight. Good luck to the weekend hunters as I will be living vicariously through y’all. I won’t get to hunt for another week.

Bonus! My sons game is at 4pm, not 10am like I thought! I’ll be out in the am. Camera is taunting me saying to hunt that scrape on the field, 10pt has been hanging out there at 7am, but I’m going to set in the woods on the scrape line, that’s what my gut says and every time I go against it, I’m wrong. So hopefully I have the 10 down by 0730.

I have a feeling about specific someone on this forum is going to do something, I don’t want to jinx him..but I hope it’s true.

Well only saw that one small for. She was feeding around me for 20-30 minutes. Great drawing and aiming practice. Looking forward to tomorrow morning. Farmer just cut corn against woods by stand I’m headed to. Hopefully deer will swarm to that field tonight and funnel back past me in the am. See you all bright and early.

Close call on 2 does about 15 minutes before close. Had em at 35 but the golden rod was thick and above their backs. 15 yards closer is an opening. I'm just glad I wasn't busted.

This time next weekend we'll be just about headed to bed for the final day before it turns November.

Nice thing will be, the clocks have already changed before my rutcation begins or the first sun of November rises.

In a way it is crazy it is here already, I hope we all get a 2020 buck to make this year worth it. It's the only fair ending to this madness...............

Here is the property and here is where I plan to find a tree (north East black X). They are bedded more in the swamp than in the woods, so I’m taking my chances. They travel this creek cruising for does every year. Just need to find a good tree (there aren’t all that many). It’s so thick it’s tough.

If anyone else has suggestions let me know! I’m an open minded fella willing to learn.
