Sounds like tomorrow morning might be the ticket! Fresh sign will be obvious, and it'll be quiet going in. :tu:

I had a nice 8 come through on camera yesterday in the same weather scenario. He would be tempting to take even tho I’m after two other bucks. Really looking to take a doe tonight and stay out till November. Action usually starts here around 5:45. Will keep posted

Good luck folks! I'm still staying out of my local spot. The good news is, it is raining and hopefully washing all the scent away after tromping all through prime bedding. Enough about me. KILL!!

That’s funny you say that. There was a giant tree just fell on the property across the creek from me. Didn’t see it fall but heard it popping and saw tops of other trees swinging around. Weird. Not really even that windy.

Same crazy NE wind here. Sitting in a stand a half mile from last night's activity. Out this stand up for the east wind. While inspecting scrape under the tree my stand is in I bumped a little forky.
My brother just watched a bruiser 70 yards away, he live 30 minutes from here. Things are picking up!

The next 4 weeks is what we look forward to ALL YEAR - get after them!

I’m up a tree, 80 degrees out, was going to hit the deeper woods but I kicked one up and seen a bunch driving in. Didn’t want to sweat and run everything out of here.

Well, I sat the stand I'm current in tonight because of the wind direction. About 5 minutes ago my cell camera sends me a pic, it is placed at my other stand, and a fairly decent buck just walked by there. Sheeeeesh!

I managed to make my way out to the farm tonight. Set up in the ground blind about a 120 yards from the truck and overlooking a patch of persimmons. 74° and a perfect wind for this setup. 20201020_171810.jpg
