A 16 year old boy shot it this morning.
He's been hunting his ass of with a bow and has had several close calls with this brute but with the youth rifle season, decided to try that route.
1 broken G_2 at the base or it would been a great buck.
    Hell, still is!!
He's a quite, hardworking kid and he's turning out to be one hell of a hunter.

On the woods on the ground. Found some scrapes and a rub Line. But even better the farmers taking his corn down. Got a decent steady wind but we will see

I changed tactics. Left my property. Im two miles down the road, on the ground with the crossbow. There are two white oaks here, a bunch of apple trees and some choke cherry type trees. Had to try something different. Hope i see them coming in cause its going to be up close and personal. Everything is on the menu this evening.

Some good ones dropping! Blanket congrats guys. Keep them coming. I went out to check cams around lunch time and not 10 yards from my truck walked up on an angry copperhead. I freakin hate snakes and this warm weather we have. Ready for some cold weather!

Good luck pm. It’s windy and rain is a coming. Hopefully some bucks will start moving soon. Only does this morning. Found a nice scrape that was recently used on my way out this morning.

Just sat down for an evening sit. Got a late start and then realized my arrows were still in the truck once I reached my stand. Hoping for better luck the next 2 hours.
