Went out for compost...winds again just swirling around like water in " the bowl " plus gusty.
Think I'll finish these 68 poppers while watching a scary movie..Good luck and stay safe.

Just bought a new set of Plythal camo that has bibs. First pair I've owned for a while. I'm looking forward to wearing them.

Looked in the hunting closet and found three pair of bibs. They all get used according to the freezer your boys correlation! Lol love my bibs!

No wonder I havent been seeing much. Hunting out on the state forest and marked a tree in the summer by white oaks. Quiet as heck out here bc of rain. Start hearing two white oaks raining down near that tree I marked. Out jump 5 does bedded under that tree.

Put a 10 yd stalk...yes 10 yds. Lol Got to within 30 of one doe broadside until the lead doe locked in on me. They never smelled me and blew one time and trotted off.

These are the hardest raining white oaks I can remember. Pounding down. Hoping something comes in here...put myself in a tree with front cover in case they come back in looking for me.

This is the best thing I've read all day. The only reason I laughed so hard is bc it sounds like something my dad has done and something I will end up doing.

Didn't even get setup and deer all around me. Climbed the tree any way and the deer stayed within 30 yards the whole time.

Just shot a huge doe! Doe down!

My daughter saw a Doe during our mid day hunt but couldn't get on it, nothing for me and the boys. We had lunch and are back in the blinds waiting for the rain to stop at 1700 per the weather people.

First time out in a week... Secluded field - farmer left us a little gift as well that might come in handy later this year!

Rain has moved out. Temps dropping - need the wind to settle down and might be a good October sit.
