    You may need to sharpen the broadheads if the shot placement is that good. I quit using Muzzy a few years ago because they seemed dull compared to other brands. I have a sharpening kit if you want to meet up some time, I can show you how to do it and then you can get your own sharpener.

    I got down about an hour ago and scout it out a few areas. My oldStomping grounds from the past few years. The usual fools gold sign is there, but I ain’t falling for it this year!! Good luck to anyone else who is still out

    That's the first thing I was was thinking on a few of the kills on the thread. That's the difference between a sharp and dull broadheads. You need that slice to open up arteries. If you hit them perfect in the lungs and no blood, my first reaction is the broadhead sharpness. Good call on that!

    Wait I have been told a dull knife is more dangerous that a razor sharp one, why does this not apply to broad heads?

    I am using last years broad heads unsharpened this season just to prove the point 2 holes in a deer broadside is a dead deer, unless the shot is too far back or too high.

    Well I’m out until around 2 or so. Not a very exciting morning. Ended up seeing two but nothing close. Now to pick a spot for tonight.

    Being fairly new to this site, I love this thread! When I can't get out to the stand this is the next best thing. I never thought I would be rooting so hard for people I don't know get a deer. And when someone finally tracks down and lays their hands on it... The excitement for them is real!
