    I’ll be heading out in the morning again. Supposed to be near freezing at sunrise. I’m head to the shelf with funnels I found the other night.

    Left my arrow and backed out. Blood is sparse on the arrow only being around a fletching, had hair in the Broadhead which was not buried in the ground as it would be if I had missed. Didn’t locate any impact blood.

    Side note he mule kicked and took off ... didn’t hear any crashing.

    Gonna wait for my buddy to get back to the truck and see what’s what’s.

    Good luck on the recovery.

    Is shot low? How far up a tree where you and how close was the deer? Shot angle ??? Is what I'm getting at.


    Looks like a low hit??

    18 yard shot broadside from 20ish feet. Maybe low hard to say. The arrow doesn’t show it and I hope it holds true but when I see a mule kick = dead deer.

    I don’t know if it’s possible to get a complete pass through with that little blood. I’ve never seen it.

    I have my thermal so if it’s dead in the woods will be easy to spot.

    Heart shot deflected out low other side. Dead deer in under 80yds. I like guessing. Haha. Good luck Finny. Off to check the mdc for some wonderful fun.
