I had to abort the buck bed. Wind switching too many times as I guess its supposed to flip near 180 by tomorrow morning and drop 25 degrees.. On an oak flat now. Sweating and mosquitoes. Better than laying in bed any day!

This wind is a good thing for later, it's opening up the woods. Still green some thou.

Sorry man, you keep leaving them hanging over the middle of the plate. You are the meme king around here, it will come back at me at some point.

Would have been perfect had he been a bigger buck. Hopefully big brother is not far behind him. Fairly early for them to be coming up to feed

All setup, pain in the buns getting up this tree, but it’s the only one that’ll give me a few options. If the wind quits swirling and picks the direction, I’ll be set.
I actually need to be about 15 yards to my left, but it’s too dang thick and the only tree worth climbing is right on the staging trail.

Ya... wind caused it to pass quickly, but what shook the walls was the thunder. I'm use to that, being in the hills. But this storm seemed way lower and more intense than usual. Nearly sent me to the basement. Thats happened a few times over the years.
Good luck tonight guys, blue skies here now, still really windy

Beautiful evening. 70 degrees and low humidity. Does are on the hit list tonight if one shows. Other than inhaling ragweed pollen and making myself feel like I have pseudo Corona, all is good.

Supposed to get my bow looked at Thursday. Not sure if I’ll make it out this weekend cause of work and football games (daughter cheers.....ugh) will be nice to have the piece of mind. I just let my wife get a cat for her and the girls so my turn. I’ll be in the market for a Back up bow. Knew I shouldn’t sell the xbow
