No APRs around here. I’m in southern berrien county. Lots and lots of great and diverse habitat. I’m fortunate enough that have a couple really good private properties with everything a deer could want and needs. There is pressure around but for the most part 90% of the good cover on my two main properties I only step foot on to look for sheds and track.

Well, I am with you and Joe as well. Last deer with a bow for me was early 2018 in Kentucky. Seems like forever. I have been hunting here in Arkansas pretty hard for 4 years now and cannot close the deal on a deer here. It’s not for lack of trying as I have been hunting more than ever the past few years. I am hoping that this year is the year that I can get the monkey off my back. All that said, I love the challenge and it’s gonna feel that much better when I get one!! Good luck boys, let’s make this year our year!

Team 11 has its fourth buck down. @802bowlife scored on a 3 x 4 mule buck in South Dakota last night. His service is terrible where he is at so pics are still pending, but he has confirmed recovery on our team thread.

Hopefully, everyone will be shooting does. I made a point about that a couple of weeks ago before everyone's' seasons started to open up. I will be shooting every doe that comes in range for me. I got three growing boys to feed.

Well, down and out and back at the truck. All in all a pretty uneventful morning. I think I need to rethink some things and get out of my comfort zone a little. I don't have a hunting partner anymore as he retired and is moving away. So I don't have anyone to push me a little or bounce ideas off of. Got to get myself in gear!

Joe is a great guy, taking and occasionally dishing out ****. Saddle hunters just the trend du jour, so a convenient target...as many on here (including Adam). Though Joe, never ceases to surprise...

It'd be great if you get into them, but I think just ahead of the storm headed your way in a few days, it will only get better...

Jim let me know if you ever want to talk hunting. Maybe even do a little practicing sometime. Even be glad to help you track if ever needed.
