I have been extremely MIA. I have only been out once in the last week due to my puppy contracting Parvovirus from the breeder, so I have been tossing money at the vet for her to get better. I did have a real nice shooter 8-pt just over 40 yards the other evening but dont trust myself that far out. Waiting for this awful wind to die down later in the week to get back out.

Yeah, but they don’t eat little Debbie snacks and gas station burritos. Might smell a little different, lol

LOL! I think I'll hold off a few weeks and let the spot "cool" down before I bring him in there.

Looking forward to getting in a tree this afternoon. It's been a disgusting day since I got down at 9:30.

My wife asked me to go to the travel trailer and get one of the old sleeping bags to use as a temporary dog bed while she washes the real ones.

I walked in and thought I was going to puke.

A couple of weeks ago my wife's newly discovered half-brother came for a visit and brought his daughter and his 8 year old grand-daughter who is a real spitfire (putting it nicely). The ONLY possible explanation for what I found in the travel trailer is that this kid went in there and took a dump in the toilet and never hit the flush pedal, probably because she didn't know how.

Nasty. Almost as bad as six weeks ago when my wife put a sticky mouse trap in there and forgot to check it for two weeks.

It's been drained, flushed out, aired out and the Ozonics is running in there now. It'll be pristine again for the November camp.

It is easy to poop while in the saddle. don't ask me how I know. Or ask, I'll tell.

Boom! All set. Picked a spot I have hunted in the past took a fire trail in that was littered with acorns in about a 50 yd area I almost set up right off of that lol. Pushed in the wood line set up on a vegetation transition. Got a good trail in front of me and fresh runs around me.

Geez its getting hard to keep up with this thread. Which is a good thing. I enjoy seeing how everyone here is doing. Won't be back in stand until friday afternoon. Going to be a warm week here until then with highs of 80 most days.

Home too late...figures! I WILL be out in the morning!! Never even had a chance to eat anything today...I may just give Walmart a hundred a year to deliver stuff to me...it would cost me that much in gas anyways....and they have WAY better pricing than Amazon any more and a better selection.

Animals do poop in the woods all the time, but I don't think it gives off anywhere near as much odor as human crap does. I've pissed off my stands more times than I can count, but I have never crapped anywhere near one of my stands. Never would. jmo

Congrats, we are celebrating 30, and she is sick, still went to work on 3hrs of rough sleep while I sat for jury duty. She already texted me shes coming home and headed straight to bed. "In sickness and health", wouldn't trade her for anything... we married before I bow hunted, though shes never once bitched about my hobbies.
