Fwiw Tapatalk seems to have some periodic down time on weekends...I've seen occasional affects to the BH app, but the webpage seems to work.

A quick moment I forgot to share from my hunt Saturday morning:

One advantage to a saddle I discovered by accident Saturday morning. When pulling up my bow and backpack in the dark, the pack got caught on my bottom climbing stick and pulled it off the tree so that is was hanging horizontal. When I went to climb down and got to that stick, I had to completely trust my saddle and ropes by taking my feet completely off the tree and hanging upside down to reach the stick and correct it so that I could get back on the ground. I cannot imagine anyone doing that in a normal safety harness. I doubled roped myself in with the tether and the lineman's rope before attempting it. Fortunately, I had practiced hanging upside down at home in the event that I took a bad step of the platform and flipped, so moving around upside down was something I was prepared for.

    Saddle life BRUH!

Bruh! It's stories like this that make me proud to be a member of the saddle hunter family! I've found myself completely trusting my gear/ropes. On my last hunt, I had a few branches in my lane about 7 or 8 feet in front of me. I set my tether so the girth hitch was on the opposite side of the tree, swung around to that side, used my feet on the tree to make myself be parallel with the ground, and cut the branches.

Just pulled my bow back on a deer then saw it was spike. He’s damn lucky I’m not the rest of the neighbors. As I typed this another spike came through hopefully a 2 1/2 or more comes then I’m shooting

try to find a plastic clip. You will hit your cam on that metal one making a distinct "clink" sound just as you are drawing on your #1 target buck. My buddy Murphy told me so; he's got a pretty good track record of predicting things like that.

The highlight of this sit has been that doe Monica. She was about 125 yards upwind blowing like crazy.

    Never saw her.

I’d really like to kill that doe.

When you kill her make sure you start a new thread titled "Monica goes down". Sure to be a hit.

I've been back at the house for almost an hour. I pulled that climber out. Later today I'll go and pull the other one and I'll leave that spot alone for a week or two. Maybe three.

If I go out this afternoon it'll be behind the house.
