I’ve got nothing, checked all the trails going into the property off the road, couldn’t find any sign on any of them, a couple kicked up leaves here and there, made my way down the creek after I followed the paths the best I could, walked the entire creek with no sign of her, not sure what to do at this point, if I didn’t see the nockturnal sticking out of her I would think I for sure missed

Honestly no idea she turned out of there so fast all I was was orange going, then not to mention the other two deer she was with took off and almost got him by a car and that distracted me from watching my deer like I should have

hmmm. I shot a buck once where the arrow hit the shoulder/scapula and the arrow got stuck between the scapula and skin. Any chance that could have happened here?

likely she didnt cross the road but stayed parallel to the road then hooked back into your lot. if she was badly hit she will not go with the other deer. so if the others crossed the road my bet is she did not. most all of the does if ever shot seem to run in a curved pattern and barely never run in a straight line. i have never found a dead deer on a trail either usually off trail or piled up in brush. hope this helps.

i did manage to get my blind set up on my buddies property overlooking a freshly combined corn field. it will be for quick hunts after work. there are a couple 170's in the area there.

The moon is supposed to be underfoot at about 3:00 pm. I think I'll walk across the road and get on stand about 2:00 and sit until dark.

The temps tonight are supposed to drop to between 36 and 39, so maybe the deer will be moving in the morning.

I saw it but it was kind of like having a lone fawn walk in when I'm hunting. It was too easy so I let you walk.

Have a plan and will head in around 3. Haven't hunted this spot this year yet and did a lot of work clearing lanes for it back in March. Let's see if it pays off. I feel like the coyote broke the ice. This is the time of year all kinds of bucks start filtering over and making things more interesting.
