Good luck. Take your time and go slow, may be bedded and you'll want to have a good look.

If you have OnX or similar you can find their mailing address, some times that's helpful if you need to goggle them. Else, if you have decent proof/belief the deer crossed onto private and you can't find the owner, call the CO/game warden, they can sometimes help.

Same here just me and the squirrels so far, including a probably dead one who just misjudged a jump and fell about 50'.

Got really sweated up on walk in and now I'm chilled to the bone. If I don't have any action here by 930 going to slip down, throw on the ghillie and slow roll the 1.5mi back to camp

We’ll absolutely 0 sign of her, she had to cross the road, got a number I’m going to give a call here in an hour or so, luckily it was down in the 40s overnight and it wasn’t a gut shot so if I’m lucky enough to get permission she should be good

The wife and I had a great time with my parents last night. All they wanted was pizza for dinner! Lots of laughs and stories from the past. They were happy we were there for sure!

My dad was drilling me with hunting questions, as he is finally in hunting mode! I think I'm going to set him up on the ground on the swamp edge where I was on Friday afternoon. It will be a great spot for him because he'll be able to see a good distance, not just 20 yards being in the thick stuff. Its supposed to be a lot cooler towards the end of the week, so we made a plan to hunt together Thursday afternoon. I'll take him to the spot and get him setup. I want him to see deer and be in the hunt! This spot will do that.

I don't even have a chance to screw up since I'm hunting from the kitchen counter until my ankle heals.

In all seriousness, you're doing a great job!!!

Glad to hear everything worked out good for their anniversary. Can never go wrong with pizza! Sounds like a good spot for your dad to setup for hunting. Good luck

Didnt make it to the stand this morning and I am already waiting to get in the stand this evening. Taking my 5 year old so we will see how he does up in a double ladder stand I have out. I have also not hunted out of it yet so no pressure in that immediate area.
