    Congrats on the yote ridge

Good luck in the morning recovering your deer happy and Adam.

I didn’t see anything tonight. Thought for sure with the lower than normal temps and all the trails I had in front of me I would have seen 1 deer. Won’t be out until next week

What a knarly buck. Thats a tough decision. I guess if it was me and I had 2 buck tags, I would shoot. If I only had 1 tag, then no.

Every doe in the local area would love you for shooting that buck. He probably creeps around and spies on them as they eat and bathe.

I sure hope so!! I still see the nock going in her and it didn’t look like a gut shot. Following bright red blood drops every 10 feet or so for the little bit I tracked her. Just kinda bummed. Should have been a gimmie

The left side on this deer bears a remarkable resemblance to Ghost's left side. Could be his daddy or his granddaddy.

That'll be up to my son in law. I'm not hunting there yet and might not get to this year.

Shoot if it makes you happy, pass if not.

Going by muscle structure in that right frony leg I'd be willing to bet he has an injury to it or ro his left rear, would need to see additional pics.

I don't think it would be a "cull" deer for the fact of poor genetics.

Don't beat yourself up over it, especially not before you know the outcome. Relax, get some food in you and get some rest.

You made the right call and you'll find her in the morning.

I would shoot. How many times to get a chance at a buck with that unique of a rack?

That’s an old, hideous buck. And I’m shooting him all day and twice on Sunday

I'm not hunting there. I was just curious how many folks on here would consider shooting.

If I were hunting there I'd shoot that joker without a second thought. That's gotta be the funkiest 10 point I've ever seen, and he's a mature old guy.

Right now the clearcutting is going on there. I told my son in law that all of this habitat destruction might be pushing deer out that he's never even gotten on camera before. If this old bruiser lives there then he's avoided cameras for three years now.
