    Just shot at doe. Looked good. She ran to 80 yards and stood there. Then I lost her. Arrow is lit up sticking in the ground. Waiting a little then gonna check it out while there is still light.

    Had all 3 at 24yds. The fawns are button bucks and the Doe is obviously a good breeder. I let them walk.

    I will never understand why so many rednecks think that the best time to blow thru mags and mags of ammo is approximately 45 mins till sunset.

    I have experienced this phenomena in IN, WI, MI, and VA.

    And with ammo being so expensive and hard to come by these days apparently they got money to literally burn...

    Ok, back to my squirrel watching.

    I am in Kent Ionia. Very similar situation down here. The county lone runs right through a state game area and one side is 4 on a side the other is not. Doesnt make any sense to me. But i like the Aprs.

    Also there is a shooting range there that is very popular first and last hour of daylight
