    I ended up jumping into a 12 foot ladder stand that’s been here forever. It’s on the fringes of a betting area, pretty much a Hail Mary just trying to get lucky.
    Really thick in here, If I do see something I just hope I can get a shot off

    Love this spot and is usually good on a N wind but I swear it is not consistent, so here goes getting blown at.

    She came downwind of me and started blowing. So I got to full draw and slowly stood up. She was just standing there blowing but all I could see was her head and neck. It wouldn’t have been an ethical shot . She bounded off just now. Image1601762342.426420.jpg
    It’s hard to see deer from the ground in this field. I’m thinking I’ll come back with some pallets and try to make an elevated platform or something. I’m heading in for now.


    Edit: deer are still moving around a few hundred yards off. Mine as well sit out the last half hour.
