    I’ve decided I’m going to try to be more mobile this year as well, playing around with my set up it’s just XOP sticks and a stand, got it slimmed down pretty small. We’ll see how it goes this year! IMG_3336.JPG

    He does, we could always request someone to post up the video when he hunted with Rob_PA :lol:

    It's all in good fun though, I swear August and September are the worst years of the month for me.

    Well got back out tonight and hiked about a mile in on the path to get to a 2acre young pine thicket and man that stuff is thick!!! Decent trails going all throughout and found a handful of good rubs, a scrape from last year and one heck of a trail going in/out of the north east corner, as well as a decent trail along the entire north edge I was planning on using my mobile set up in this spot, but the sign looks good enough and it was a long wall that I think I’ll put a hang on and sticks in the tree for easier access. Red lines in the NE corner and the one going along the top of the marked area are the main trails I found, rubs along both of them! And the last picture is the trail leading out in the NE corner

    VS was the organizer of the Boonie hunters, I'm afaraid to replace mine as it is not worn out, but still question whether I need one more with the times.....

    I feel like I will either be jinxed or cursed if I do.

    Just like it to be known that I'm a procrastinator, and that likely will not change this year.

    Just giving some new members to the thread a heads up if you sadly find yourself glued to my posts :lol:

    I didn't hang any cameras or scout a bit during turkey season, hell, I bought 3 permits and could hunt any day for 3 werks and never made it out once :lol:

    I likely won't do most of what I say I'm going to try, but I'm going to do my best to accomplish one of them. Just not sure which that is yet :lol:

    I whine, a lot at times, but this is by far my favorite thread on the forums so don't let it deter you.

    29 days until I can hunt, probably 60 before I do :lol: :shrug:
