    I'm awake. Pouring rain. Supposed to stop raining at 10. I would usually be in the blind by 0530 for a 0630 shooting time. With the rain as sound cover and the clouds delaying shooting time till around 0700. I think i will go in around 0600. Deer calandar says good movement between 0730-0830, also 1330-1530. Ill probably stay in the blind till 11. Get lunch. And then up in a stand by 1300.

    Up but no go...lower back and upper thigh spasms. We need to adjust to sitting on Stand. Early, no need to push it. Too bad no wind and cold. Good dayto cut cabbage and stuff peppers for freezer as tomatoe sauce cooks down to be canned. Ill get those monkeys off my back....Good Luck guys stay safe

    Wind is good for the same spot I sat last night. Left my sticks up unlocked so need to go back there and get them anyway. PM the wind shifts no good so I'll be in a different area unless I am gutting one out. ☠️

    Season opens for a lot of folks today let's do this.

    Good luck this morning everyone!! I'll be out for an afternoon sit. Not sure about tomorrow. October 3rd is my parent's anniversary. Normally it's no big deal. However, I realized last night, that it's my parent's 50th. I feel so awful for not knowing, or being so lost in my own world to not have known. I only found out because my cousin had sent me a text of the ad that my aunt took out in the paper wishing them a happy 50th. Such a horrible feeling. Of course my wife is all over it making plans last minute, but I feel really bad.

    Just getting daylight here. Got in the stand early, something heard me and came to investigate.
    I could hear it walking around slowly, downwind.
    Then the inevitable blowing for 5 minutes :rant:

    Wind was different than expected. Re routed my approach. Turned into a hot mess. Was comparable to the debate the other night. I did manage to finally get set up.... but then I realized.... my Binos and rangefinder are in my truck! And I didn’t drive here! Gotta go deer
