    Well after half a day of work ill post my morning update haha. Got up showered got dressed for work loaded car got to inlaws changed in driveway walked through corn set till sunrise. Had 2 big does coming in perfect script. One turned at 45 yards and the both circled around me. Didnt see me wind me or spook and no miss. Great opening morning to me. Hopefully leave early tomorrow and be in for evening sit all day Saturday and sunday unless i decide to take my daughter out.

    Settled into the ground blind. Now I remember why I never hunt out of these things. The wind knocked some acorns down so maybe some doe will come by. Wind is still blowing pretty good.

    Good luck guys! Love all the people posting from the stand!

    I'm up in stand and on a different property tonight. Only hunted here 1 time last year. This place has my number. I find it very difficult to hunt. It's basically has a 200 acre thicket. Plenty of deer, I just have a hard time getting in front of them.

    A little back story of this property. I've scout and shed hunt this place for 5 or 6 years. 3 years ago I found the most impressive cluster of rubs and scrapes I have ever seen. For the last 3 years they are opened up. Same time ever year right around November 1. Last year I sat there on November 1 and I was a day short. He beat me to it. So just today I set a camera over it just to see how big this buck is. I gonna get this joker this year! Not going to come in here again til about October 30.

    3 day weekend begins now! Gonna go home and go over everything with a fine toothed comb. Fire up the grill and drink a few cold ones. Make sure my havalon has a fresh blade in it and the deer carts tires are fully inflated.
