Just ended up seeing the one doe this morning. Not sure where the afternoon will take me. Either state land in climber or private in a hang on.

The front is slow moving. Calling for a wet afternoon, clearing up for the overnight and into the morning. I'll be heading out for a few hours this afternoon, and I'll be going out tomorrow morning as well. I have a bad feeling that the timing of this front will make all movement be overnight tonight.

Make your own luck. They will be on the move after the front today and tomorrow morning. KILL

Good luck joe!! Just got in from shooting on my break and man is it hot out there! Almost 90, can’t wait for opening day Saturday, high of 60 and low in the 40s... moon guide says it will be a red moon which according to some is the best time to hunt (moon underfoot or overhead at dawn or dusk) thought I would post my expensive mistake yesterday... no more shooting groups at 40 for this guy IMG_2429.JPG

Great job man! I remember a couple years ago, I shot a buck in the final minutes of light. It happened all so fast, that it seemed like a blur. I went from a moment of about to pack up to having a deer in front of me within a matter of 30 seconds (what it felt like). Never give up!

    All setup!!

At a spot I’ve always dismissed that my dad and I call couch rock. I’ve never hunted it thinking it was a bit open, but knowing what I know now about how deer use topography, this spot could be killer! Noticed a great run line when I was scouting here a month ago. Big rubs a good 2-3 feet off the ground. Fingers crossed! Good luck to whoever else is out!!

Stick it out if you can. I have always found the first couple of hours after rain to be awesome for deer movement. Good luck!

Amazing what a sweat you can work up walking 10 minutes in 100% humidity. Trying to dry off before I put my jacket on. This little spot is my doe honey hole. See if it provides tonight. 1570046588824.jpeg

I'm in stand. Really love that my thermacell won't click over too. Gotta see what's going on with that. Mid to high 80s currently. Wind is great now we will see if the deer cooperate. Fresh rubs 20 yards away so thats nice to see

Plan on getting soaked tomorrow depending on how bad it is when I get up unless I score tonight.
