    Only had the fawn walk by. Got down to check my camera and when I got back to my stand there was a copperhead underneath it. God I hate those things.

    That is what I did this past Saturday. Up at 4 am, in the tree an hour and fifteen minutes before daylight. Had a doe four yards from the tree at shooting light. Everything about my plan worked perfectly, except my shot placement. :bigcry::violin::rant:

    I have the boot covers, they are better than I expected. I had doubts since they were thin looking, but 100% worth the money. No input on their clothing line.

    In the woods. Happy about that. Same area I got my doe. Some fresh sign. There are so many nuts they just won't pattern. We'll see. My hope is they are bedded on the island behind me. I'll try a pic.
