I didn't see anything besides that one doe that ran through blowing. It was a hot, miserable sit. I think I'll hunt tomorrow morning and then hang it up until the temps drop on Thursday. I'm getting tired of sweating.

Well today is opening day for Indiana. But where am I? In the hospital, saving lives and stamping out disease! I'll be out there tomorrow A.M. though.

    Blessings.........Pastorjim

I'm up and ready to go. I actually left all of my gear including my bow in the tree last night to motivate me to get up again. If I hadn't I probably would have skipped this morning.

Anyway, here we go again. Lets see if a deer or two will walk by this morning.

    Good luck!

How do you guys power up your phones and post in the dark without illuminating your face and temporarily blinding yourself? :)

This is the first opener I've sat out. Temps just kept rising and rising last night and it is absolutely dead still. You could hear a mouse from 30 yrds away out there.

There is nothing moving here yet this morning with the exception of a squirrel about 40 yards away who doesn't seem pleased at all that I am here.

I've always been curious about that arctic shield stuff. I look forward to your report on it.

I think I'll follow the popular opinion here, and go in real early and try and quietly pick out a tree. I may be a little noisy, but I'm back in far enough from food that if I'm settled in an hour before daylight I feel I'll still be okay!

    Thanks for the input everyone
