You make take scent control too seriously. Does a bear crap in the woods? Who cares, does Vanfossen?

Lol I’m really not a fan of scent products, I hunt the wind. Only reason I have the wipes is for the sweat on my head and face in early season. Outside of that I just use the detergent and deodorant

Well I am not a happy camper right now. Hurricane looks like it it headed right for us here in eastern NC again. It may blow out opening weekend for me. Guess we will know in a few days. We got slammed last year by the last one and was not able to hunt for almost a month.

Did some scouting for the urban hunt that opens tomorrow. I found a few old beds, some trails, and droppings. Most of what I found looked to be old sign. Good ridge tops for later in the rut but probably too far from water in this early season heat. A few acorns are dropping already. Could be interesting if most of the acorns are gone by the time the regular season starts.

I am beyond excited boys, today we put in another 2 food plots, hung 5 stands, made a watering hole, and checked cameras on the new property we got permission to hunt this year. Here are a couple of the really good bucks. My favorite right now is One Eyed Jack (his one eye doesnt light up on camera) i think that means he may be blind in that eye? Hes a really cool buck, he is almost palmated on his right side. Also has a big ten and a huge 8 point! Come on October!
