I know the area I want to hunt. Have my #1 still strolling through in daylight, as late as 10:00am!! Problem is it's too late to go in and hang a lock on. So I'm going in with my climber. Not super familiar with trees/shooting for this particular area. Do I go in Friday evening, quick and quiet pick out a tree, put it on and get out... or Do I go in in the morning, right at very first light and do it... I don't get home from work until 5:00pm. I can be walking into the area by 5:20 if I have everything set up and ready to go for when I get home...

I'm torn. I don't want to go in there and be unsure in the dark... But I know Friday evening at 5:30 I run risk of spooking deer...

What says you fine ladies and gentelman???

Personally I would go in really early in the morning, leaving scent in the area once is better than twice, take a powerful flashlight with you, climb up and make sure you can shoot from that location. Get in there really good and early

They gotta cost so much too. You should rent yours out so I can test it. I have been enjoying my XOP seat for now though.

Ah, that's specifically for Lone Wolf I think. Checking out the different models now, may have to do it!

I would go in Friday evening if you don’t have an exact tree instead of going in searching all around in the am. I think you run the risk of spooking more that way.

Well that's weird. Heard a doe blowing way off to the west. The blowing kept getting closer. She finally ran by at 80 yards or so blowing and now she's off to the south sitting still and she's still blowing.

Okay, she stopped blowing. The wind is out of the southwest so I know she didn't wind me from that far away.

Whatever spooked her spooked her good.
