I contacted a local blood tracker just in case. I am giving two hours before checking the arrow. N am confident is dead or dying but running into chest high grass has me nervous about tracking.

Now there is a buck thrashing a tree 50 yards away. Can’t see him but that tree is shaking hard.

He got up. He's not a shooter.

    He's a 4 x 2 six point about 16 inches wide.

All I could see when he was bedded was the 4 point side.

He's walking away. Didn't want to spook him even if he's not a shooter.

I got down at 830 to take a crap, meanwhile I'm pants down, pistol on the ground, and can't get to my bow and a herd of hogs walk up on me. Needless to say, I was frozen lol.

Long story short, they gone hahaha.

Done for the day. Temps and humidity won.

Only drama this morning was setting up next to a roost of turkeys.

    No deer spotted.
