    I plan on it.

I did leave my stand in the same tree but I brought everything down.

It's gonna be very tricky getting in there. It's a very small patch of woods and if I tried to go into the woods I'd bust out a lot of deer.

There is a big double white oak right at the southeast outside corner that I can get in without going into the woods And it has a view of he pond and two edges. and the wind is supposed to be out of the SSW tomorrow afternoon.

A west wind would be ideal but I'd take a SW wind.

    SSW is pushing it.

Sounds like a good plan! If you give the deer a little wind, they will feel safer. That just off wind might be your golden ticket for tomorrow. Good luck

This is the patch of woods I was hunting. You can see why we call it the T woods.

I was sitting on the east edge where the fencerow comes in from the east.

You can see the pond. The big double white oak is right at the outside corner just below the pond.

Picture a SSW wind and you see my concern.

It wasn't huntable this afternoon with the east wind I had.

Also you can see the CRP field to the north that they cut and baled. No idea what they're going to do with those round bales of weeds.

That was an ugly hit into a team mate. His lower back/extremities twisted pretty good.

    Hope he is OK

    Nope. Nothing so far.

I'm in a different location where you don't see a lot of movement but it's a good buck travel corridor early season.

I wish I could hunt the other stand in the mornings but I can't get to it without chasing the deer out of the field.

This afternoon should be better but it's supposed to get up to 90 degrees.
