You can't eat the antlers. It is your last hunt for the year, kill the first legal deer in range.

Didn't see a single deer! Then had a 30 plus minute walk of shame in the dark woods while all the deer laughed at me

About 27 years too late but I'm finally doing it. At 45 I still hope to be hunting in 30 years, but it starts becoming less cost effective from here on out.

Sadly here they learn how to tack on additional fees. For hunting I will still have to purchase a Habitat Stamp every year, which is currently $5, but if enough lifetime licenses are sold they'll create new stamps or increase price on existing. They are not included with lifetime licenses.

Sucks having to elect crooks every couple years.

Hunting turkeys in the Spring is a ton of fun! It is super fun to call to highly vocal and responsive quarry. It will quickly become one of your most favorite hunting seasons. Ask away in the turkey hunting section and read up on tactics. Sometimes you can't believe how easy it was, and other times it is very humbling...getting outsmarted by what scientists call one of the dumbest animals there is can be rough on your ego. :bigcry: :lmao2:
