They were all doe, fawn and 1.5 yo bucks. Once the real muzzleloaders started going off they booked it. I climbed down early and pulled a camera.

Well change of plans for me guys. I really want to grind and grab my bow but I think I’ll be wielding the 12 ga. With some 3” BB tomorrow. Been waiting for waterfowl to get down to me all fall and the finally did it with a few weeks left. The mallards were swarming like bees today but that season is already over. Next Sunday will be back to a tree

I use the Energizer Lithium. Depends on the camera. Get several thousand out of the Stealth Cam and even more out of the Reconyx.

That's what I ended up going with. Had ordered the duracell industrials but didn't realize they were coming from the UK.

I'll get them put out on my final sit, going to be interesting for sure. That end of the property hasn't been hunted in years. Remember my Uncle telling me he used to see and kill some big bucks in there years ago, but you have to get in really early as once the leaves drop they get deep and loud.

Our season ended yesterday. Myself and dnoodles got to hear several drunk rednecks shoot off 3ooo shots while other neighbors howled like Indians for hours on a deer drive. Needless to say we didn't see any deer and got rained on hard at the end of the hunt. haha

Best of luck to you today!

I'm at our cabin in Arkansas. It's about time to get dressed and head out with the bow.

I made it out to the property and couldn't find my release anywhere in the Jeep. Luckily I keep my wife's as a spare. It's a little short, but will work in a pinch.

I'm all set up but I'm trying to stop the bleeding from my right middle finger.

I have no idea how but somehow I sliced it taking the quiver off my bow.

    Anyway here we go.

This is s wooly spot on Wattensaw WMA in Arkansas.

I've never hunted this part of the place but I'm betting that my best chance this time of year is to get in the thick cover.

If I see movement I'll adjust for it tomorrow. IMG_3762.jpg
