Just had a little 1.5 year-old six point pop out, looked like he was looking for something. 10 minutes later he came running by chasing a doe.
Maybe a late hot doe will get these boys stirred up!

Out with James again. We switched blinds with his sisters. Should be a good afternoon . Deer were everywhere driving here.

I'm set up on my property and this is the maiden voyage of my new Ozonics. This should be a perfect test. The wind is out of the west and if a deer moves through here there's a 90% chance it'll come from downwind.

On another note I had planned on hunting public land this week but I screwed up and tagged the doe I shot day before yesterday with my regular gun tag instead of my landowner gun tag.

I guess I should pay closer attention in the future. Oh well.

Had lunch, took a little nap and moved to a different stand. The wind finally died down, thank God. These high winds have been killing me.
Big freshly worked scrape on my way in.
About hour and half to go

Any doe or shooter buck is in peril tonight. This spot was on fire last time but the leftover beans are almost cleaned out. We'll see. Good luck out there.

Love this funnel. 40 yards wide between fields and the dead falls force them to my left up wind. Wish I could have hunted it pre rut, but let's see what happens tonight. 20191231_162733.jpeg 20191231_162831.jpeg

    Congratulations on the deer Kfil.

Big time happy with the buck the young man shot with his Christmas crossbow! That is super cool.

The season ends here tomorrow in MI. I took advantage of the snow and slightly colder weather and sat out for does for our late doe season. Took out #6 & 7 tonight, 6 does off this property. The farmer is delighted. I had a blast. Now I can pack up in the morning and take my time getting ready to drive up to Canada. Going to do some ice fishing.

Happy New Year to all of you. You have increased my joy by being part of my hunting family. God bless us...everyone! He loves you.
