Well damn it. Had a doe and fawn come past.... I stopped her in my small lane and she stopped right behind a small branch.... needless to say they kept going after a bit and as soon as they got far enough away I went and trimmed that branch. Hopefully there will be more later! This sitting on the ground stuff is intense

Well I had a doe fawn at 30 she got nervous and pulled the buck and doe. A little later I had a 1oo” 10 point at 50 yards. I might have killed him if he got close enough. He wandered off.
    I expected more action.

Bucks already dropping antlers here. Poor nutrition due to mast failure.

Not sure how to upload the video clip of the hunt on here.

Really happy to take her...She was a really fat one. She went 30 yards and did the curly shuffle. What was a good night damn near became a great night when the ~160” 12 pointer came in just out of range 5 minutes after I shot her.

I’ve been pretty inactive lately, but hunting a hell of a lot nonetheless. I’ll post a more detailed life/hunting update tomorrow or the next day when I have more time.

Hope all is well with everyone on here.

After a busy few weeks I’m finally getting some time to get back in the woods. Did a quick ground hunt and saw 5 doe, 2 started my way but that damn black cat crossed my path and cursed me again. I heard an interesting topic, too many doe will hurt the buck population. I have a butt load of doe, I think I need to thin the herd a bit. I never thought about the doe/buck ratio before.
oh well, I’ll be getting back out the next few days and weeks.
