I haven't had much time to hunt lately. I'm out with my muzzleloader on a picked bean field they haven't plowed. Started snowing a little bit ago. There is a lot of spots you can see where they have been digging thru the snow to get the beans.

I'm in the blind with the crossbow. Snowing lightly, supposed to turn to mixed precip. Just the kind of whether before a good storm that I like to hunt in. It's the weather that got the deer moving in daylight the last two times I saw them here.

    I'm back in the game.

I am back in Windsor, MO for the first time since I killed the 10 point on 27 October.

Good fresh sign here, but I'll bet the moon still has them mostly nocturnal.

    We'll see.

Does are on the menu again. My son-in-law wants to put s couple in the freezer and you know me.

I had one deer of some sort sneak through in the thicket to my south about 30 minutes after my last post.

Other than that all I saw was one turkey and squirrels.

I'll give it another shot tomorrow morning.

I’ll be out tomorrow with the .30-06 after a 3 week break of not hunting, supposed to rain but hey it’s the last day and I’ll be on public land, the public land guys usually push th deer around pretty well and I have had success in the spot I am heading to before! Good luck out there guys

Rifle season / orange to EOY in Central NC. Been busted by a buck I have mailed out for the past 3 weeks with the rifle.

In the stand with the bow today.

    Light rain 40 degree.

In tight to his usual trail. Aggressive play today. Fingers crossed.
