Agreed! Still live from the stand and a Kill. That’s all that’s needed.

My life long mentor, Tred Barta, would have been proud of my scouting efforts the other day. For real I just typed that as a joke but as I was looking for a picture of Tred to post I learned that he passed away 2 weeks ago. Crazy how 2 days ago I thought about him as I waded through swamp water. Rip Tred! [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Ok so lesson learned. I got a stand hung and relocated a camera. Forgot to save pics so now I wait for more out of that spot lol. However I did bring a backup camera and hung it on a fresh scrap until I went to power it up and forgot to bring and extra SD card. So now we wait again lol. Don't pull a me and bring all the SD cards you need while out checking and hanging stands.

PULLED CARDS TODAY. 2 stupid cards had nothing on them and i'm sure there should be a ton of pics because the mineral block i put out in July is gone, and third camera had just does. i have attempted to reformat the cards but that didn't work. i also put 2 new cameras out.

    any ideas on the cards?

Happened to me a few times over the years. I tried a few things to that did not work. I just had to buy a couple new ones to replace the lost ones. If you get it figured out though let us know.

Man I’ll tell you that I have had trouble over the years with swapping cards from one brand of camera to another and having such a result. Since then I have gotten in the habit of formatting the SD cards every time before I put them into a camera. Never ever leave pictures on a card (especially from a different camera brand). Since I started formatting the cards I have had almost no problems with cameras mysteriously not taking pictures.

I have had the best luck fixing faulty SD cards by snapping them in half and throwing them away lol!
