I’ll be in my spot in 15 minutes. Finishing up my next couple days with the orange army. A lot of tracks last night where I hunted so going back there. Good luck

Just had a doe come out right after I walked in. She walked back in the timber.

I went out but didn't see anything thing. There were shots out back on neighbors but didn't hear their 4 wheeler.
For those with trespassing problems, you may relate. I texted the owners :

Me: tell your hunters to stay off my land. I have dated pics of their tracks coming past my posted signs and going back off. They are your responsibility.

Owner: I'm sick of YOUR ****. I have told all of them to stay the a holes land. I don't know what you want me to do. IF you catch someone press charges. Get a life....OR SELL YOUR LAND TO ME.

Mind you I have only had to contact him twice. Last year when they dragged a buck through my property ungutted ,because they shot it on another nieghbors land and didn't didnt want to get caught dragging it out by him after it died on our land.
So their hunters trespassing on my land makes ME the problem. There is also another text from his wife.
NOW the reason I'm posting this for you guys.
1.) To point out by texting them...I have a written record of everything they said.
2.) My calm response to the trespassing and their rather nasty attitude. Which I will be showing DEC.
3.) To highlight how bad actors in the hunting community have wrecked things for all hunters. Those 3 guys have over 70 acres to hunt and still have to be bad actors.
Sorry if this was a high jack...

Welp, the AM sit wasn’t a complete bust, I did get to let an arrow fly,.... on a turkey, but I missed. The arrow deflected off a down limb I didn’t see and then buried my Slik Trik mag in a tree! GRRR!! I did get my arrow back. I may head back out this evening?

Headed home. Wife has errands to run. Boys and I are marking where to plant trees and shrubs for the farm plan we qualified for.

It has not been a total loss today, I just had a 4 pt come by at 24 yards first set of horns in a while. Good to see movement. 1115 ish

Never heard him was looking in a different direction

You composed yourself way better than I would have. Just call the law dogs. They’ll take care of it

Ought to be an interesting afternoon. Headed out to my public land spot. There was 18 to 22 inches of snow. Going to bring snowblower to make a parking spot. Then a slightly more than 1/4 mile hoof in to scout trails for tomorrow's sit.

I predict a good time. Lol
