Had a nice buck walk almost right under me 8 minutes before legal light.

I hope something else walks through.

Yep, same tree I was in. Also, he was headed in the direction of the tree you were in.

Probably would have been there right after legal light. Stupid work and responsibilities.

Congrats everyone. Haven't been out winds rain, sleet, then wet snow. Cams have been dead. Well until last night. Doe and a small racked buck at night. But I did get out to do this...head for a hot bath now..

I’m hoping to join the orange army with the x bow if I can get out of work at a decent time. Hopefully they pushed some bucks over my way and will follow the doe out to the field tonight.

300 ft plus the drive across street. It's 2 car width wide for a hundred ft. Plus a turn around. We have a tractor with loader...I do this for my winter exercise. Though being in my 60's I notice the town plow and the neighbors all slow down and look down the drive...I'm thinking they are checking for a body...lol

It’s snowing pretty hard but not quite cold enough to stick. Going to try and hang a stand closer to where the deer have been entering the field. They are wise to my ladderstands. Let’s do this!

Two days of rifle season and the neighbor has 3 shots, one 7/8 pt, I saw him dragging it out. Today 2 shots. Assuming a follow up shot , didn't see any bucks. Saturday I saw 25 + , today 3.

Going to hit another spot here in a few minutes

New stand is hung. Neighbor was on an ATV and pushed a couple doe and little buck behind me. Hopefully the deer aren’t so buggered up they don’t come to field. Time will tell. Glad the wind is good because I’m soaked with sweat. Good luck PM shift.

You my friend we’re almost dead on. I had a great encounter with a very nice 10 point. Came in behind a doe. He was about 40 yards but He never got into an opening. He went out in the field but same deal never got to an opening. He went back into the woods and I almost shot him at 40 but the doe he was with had now worked herself right in front of me. Sure enough he came back out and was headed to the opening. Turned the safety off, took a big breath and then he stopped. He was down wind of me at this point about 30 yards. He turned and started walking away from me. Just kinda strolled off into the corner of the field.

Sadly if I would have been in one of my ladderstands I could have shot him at 20 yards the first time he came out. No biggie. I’ll just keep hammering away. Lots of time left.
