    Thanks Chief! I’m normally done killing them by now but Father in law asked for more meat. He actually wanted liver, kidneys, and heart. She made it easy lol.

    Good luck today everyone. I might sneak in around noon if I can get some unpacking and other assigned duties squared away. I woke at 5 to a massive headache and high winds so I returned to my warm bed. Drove straight through 868 miles yesterday...needed some rest, but now I need to do some killin.

    Anybody on the back end of this Great Lakes area storm get your butts out into the woods and Fields right now! I've been on the road in mid Michigan less than an hour and I've probably seen sixty or seventy deer in the woods and along field edges from the road
    ( and that's not even counting behind Ted Nugent's fence)

    Thanks Carter. Made it home, 55 degrees and sunny here. It was in the the low 20’s in Rochester this morning.

    Kill something we need to fire up the troops.

    Well, made it back from NJ, unpacked the truck, hooked up the snow plow and I'm out with my crossbow for the last 2 hrs of VT's rifle season which ends today at 1643. Bucks only allowed. Looking for Mr 9pt. Sitting in the ground blind overlooking the turnip/radish plot. Alot more tracks in it since I left! Never give up!!!

    I was having lunch with my aunt and uncle about 30 minutes ago and looked out there dining room window across the road and there was about a 60 in half rack out chasing a doe through the CRP.

    Between yesterday's hunt and today while driving, I have seen more rut activity in these past two days then I have the entire rest of the season combined

    Same here, I've killed some good deer in Dec.
    Can't wait to get back out, but it's gonna be tough considering I've worked like 3 days in the past 3 weeks :biggrin:
    Next weekend looks great, going to try hard to get out for a few days.

    Out for the afternoon on a new WMA. I was able to meet up with @LittleChief while is in Arkansas. Bumped a couple on the way in.
