Spypoint has a plan for 100 pics per month at no charge. I have a Spypoint and a Stealth cam for cell cams. There are advantages and disadvantages to both.

We may have a small amount of snow coming Monday. I'm hoping tracks will show up in my area. I'm checking my cam tomorrow (no Sunday hunting), it's been 7 days now. I might hunt Tues though.

    Sorry for the late update.
    Don't hate me, Joe. :whip:

    The wind was horrible!
One decent buck. We have to kill a doe first.

Well, my night did end up being exciting even though I wasn't able to close the deal.
Almost added my own personal refrain to a Christmas classic-
dnoodles got ran over by a rain deer

was on the ground this evening about 30 yards from the tree I hunted out of this AM and I got my first chasing action of the 2019 season...on my last sit. Little doe came flying over the ridge at mach 9, all walleyed and tongue hanging out. She came straight at me and didn't veer off until almost too late. I could've touched her side as she juked left a la Barry Sanders.

By the time I collected myself, her forkhorned would- be paramour came trotting by. Couldn't shoot him as I had gun on wrong side and when I swing around he pegged my pumpkin ass and took off.

And so ends my ignominious 2019. Bested by a couple of sex crazed 1.5 year olds.

I've been set up for almost an hour now. The wind is blowing at 15 to 25 with gusts up to 40.

I'm set up in a sweet gum thicket that is a travel corridor between an open oak ridge and a bedding area.

This sweet gum tree I'm in is a good size tree but this is a heck of a ride. It's kinda like being back on a ship.

    Congratulations on the doe Shocker!

It's been a while since I've killed one and I think I'm starting to have withdrawal symptoms.

I pussed out. 12 degrees here this morning and 2 deer in the freezer. I regret not getting out know because it looks perfect out but I have to get the plow on the 4 wheeler and go to town. Might make the evening sit. We’re supposed to get up to 14 inches of snow and possibly some ice starting anytime now. Good luck killers.

Late night leftover turkey and miracle whip sandwich is not a good thing for morning tree time. I may not get out of here alive!
    Dead quite here no sightings.
