I’m very confused this year. I usually have 20-30 different deer on camera and this year I have maybe 5. I just can’t wrap my head around it.

I’ve never been to that part of the state. We have a camp we go to in potter country near coudersport but that’s more north central I think. Used to be excellent hunting there but numbers have dwindled in the past 10 years or so. Still good but not what it used to be.

I know that area well. The company I work for has their office/shop on airport road directly across from the Lancaster airport. Small world!!! Maybe we have met before and not known it.

I just saw you work at Kinsey’s. That’s actually where I bought the bow I’m shooting now. Don’t generally go that far north for tech service or products but you guys were having a good sale so I jumped on it. Great store. I remember years ago when you just had the small shop in the other building we would always stop there on our way up 283 going to camp to stock up on whatever we would need for the hunt. New place is much bigger !!

It's pretty weird out there this year. I've shot some deer but definitely not seeing the day time numbers The cams are showing the bigger does and the bucks are nocturnal. And the big bucks aren't moving at all. NJ and VT both.
